The New Storm Absolute Power is the latest addition to the absolute line. This ball is wrapped in the r2s deep. I drilled mine 45x4x50 this ball is very clean for me with my loft. I touched the surface using a 2000 pad and it really helped see the shape of this ball. I would suggest this ball as a nice step down from A Gem or Magic Gem for when see start to see more friction.

LANE CONDITION

Length: 44

Volume: 25 ML

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): Kegel High Street

COMMENTS

Likes: On the Kegel high street pattern this ball was very good from different angles and speeds. It picked up fairly early and had a nice motion that carried well from everywhere. Back at my home bowl on the house shot, the ball looked really good early when I was going more up the lane. As the lanes transitioned and I migrated left, the ball wasn't as strong around the corner. It would still strike on flush shots, but the half pocket hit wasn't there. But that is true of many benchmark, dull symmetric pieces. This would rank better than most. I would give this ball a 4+ on a 5 scale.

The DNA Coil by Storm is the newest addition to the Premiere Line. This ball provides excellent mid lane read while giving effortless length, allowing the ball to make a strong move off the back end of the lane. I can see this ball being a great step down from a Harsh Reality, before needing to the get into symmetric pieces. Get yours today and don’t forget to bowl up a Storm!

BIG Asym Pearl but surprisingly very controllable. What I love the most about the DNA Coil is that I am getting a very big pearl that is controllable off the spot. The Coil has plenty of backend and hitting power but is not a check mark for me. It makes the move and just keeps its forward roll through the pocket and explodes the pins. For me the Coil is going to be a ball that I can start out with and migrate more towards the middle throughout league or through a tournament block and be in my hand for a while. For most, the DNA Coil will be something you use at the beginning of league and or in the front of a block and change out of it. I think this is going to be a fantastic ball and a surprise to many. Go get to your local pro shop and talk to your pro shop person and see if the DNA Coil is going to fit into your arsenal.

55748 - Roto Grip / Attention Star Review

The Attention Star has been an interesting ball for me. I was so excited for this ball because of all the new technology and the idea behind it and when I first threw the Attention Star I absolutely hated it. Then I remembered that it had Reacta Gloss so I hit the ball with a 3000 pad and boy did my mind change. I was hoping that this was going to be a benchmark ball for me, but it is going to be my cliff beater ball. What I mean by that is that when the lanes get over under, I can grab the Attention Star and play the oil line out to the dry and crush it. I drilled this ball at my benchmark drilling of 5 X 5 X 2 but think I am going to get another one and drill it a little bit different to see if I can get this to be the first ball out of bag. I do like this ball but will be a cliff killer for me. Please see what Darrin and Chaise had to say about the Attention Star, their opinions are different than mine.

Darrin Dohlman - Darrin really likes the Attention Star and was surprised on how strong and how much arch his has. He said that he likes how controllable the Attention Star is and that it feels like a stronger Zen. He and I agree that we aren't excited about the variety or the difference in each Attention Star is. Mine is pretty straight, his is really strong and Chaise is basically in between. Yes we all threw the ball a little different and drilled them up slightly different but not to get the range of differences of reaction on not only ours but others that have drilled up an Attention Star.

Chaise Donner - "THIS IS GOING TO BE A STAPLE IN MY BAG!" This is what Chaise first said to me after throwing the Attention Star for a few weeks. He goes on to tell me that this is the first ball that he is pulling out during league because as the night goes by and the cliff builds, he can play the cliff with the Attention Star and that this ball gives him the best look during league. Chaise goes on to say that on a sport shot he likes the Attention Star during the transition and that he doesn't have to worry about this ball burning up and giving him false reads. Needless to say, Chaise is in love with this ball and he has been killing it in league with the Attention Star. Tak a look at the videos and see what you think. Please let me know if you get on and how much you like it!

Smooth and packing a punch is the best way I can describe the new Roto Grip Optimum Idol. Like I state I have never owned any of the balls in the Idol line and boy am I mad at myself for not giving the Idol line a try. This ball is such a complete ball and should fit the eye for most people. It's long but not too long, it's angular but not too angular, and the Optimum Idol is as smooth as can be. This Idol reads the lanes beautifully and will give you every ready that you need to adjust or to ball down.
The Optimum Idol hits so ridiculously hard that I cannot even make a comparison. Most of the time you can say a ball hits like a truck or packs a punch, but this Optimum Idol hits the pocket it gives off a different sound and it’s so loud. The Optimum is going to be a benchmark ball for most or for some it will be a ball you start out with on house shot or games 2-5 in a longer game tournament. Like I stated the Optimum is so smooth and very predictable to be able to adjust or ball changes. This is going to be a cheater ball for many bowlers. Go get yours today if you want to score high.

Radical Outer Limits HK22
I’m a left handed bowler. My ball speed is around 14.5 mph. My Rev rate is around 280 rpms. I recently punched up this ball. My layout is 50x 4 1/2 x 35.I must say this ball is very impressive. The backend drive through the pins is awesome. This ball has a pearl cover stock that makes this ball hook hard off the spot. This is a great addition to the Radical Bowling Technologies line.

Radical Conspiracy HK22
I’m a left handed bowler. With ball speed around 14.5 mph. My Rev Rate is around 275 rpms. My layout choice is 50 x 5 1/4 x 30. This ball is very aggressive in the mids. And on the backend. If you’re looking for a ball for oily lane conditions. We’ll look no further. This ball is a beast. I think it’s a great addition to the Radical Bowling Technologies.
