Power Edge is a type of polish or finish that’s applied to the ball’s surface, typically giving it a smoother, higher-gloss look. However, the polish itself doesn't always directly indicate the underlying grit level. The link SVstar34 provided is directly from the manufacturer's, Storm website. I've followed this procedure on all of my polished balls and love the results of this Power Edge. Much better than it's predecessor, Reata Gloss. I did like the old Storm 1500 polish but I think that was one of the issues with the hardness fiasco. I hated the Storm 4K Fast finish.
For the Origin and Road Warrior balls, if they only list "Power Edge" under the surface description, it’s likely that the manufacturer applied the polish over a base grit finish. Typically, manufacturers apply a finer grit (around 1000-1500) as the base surface before adding the polish.
To get a more precise answer, you might need to contact the manufacturer or the pro shop where you purchased the ball. They should be able to provide the exact grit level before the Power Edge finish was applied.
If you're looking to alter the ball's reaction or track down the surface for maintenance, a good approach is to ask your pro shop to resurface the ball and fine-tune the grit level for your specific needs (i.e., adjusting the finish to give you more traction or length).
