This ball is truly the perfect complement to the cell. I have been struggling in a league that I bowl in the shot is 35 feet with hand striped back ends so as you are probably assuming yes it looks like some one kicks it when it gets out of the pattern. I drilled my pearl cell with the pin in the bridge and the CG is swung out 2.5 inches just above the center of my grip with a hole in it. Last night I threw this ball in league and it was the best reaction I have had yet. This ball got down the lane so well it really made it harder to miss than it was too strike. I normally have to loft it around twenty and throw it at the gutter but not with this one I played a little left of the track and just came threw it. This ball rolls great it gets down then lane and then makes a strong arc. I also bowl a couple of leagues in a different house that is 44 feet and its pretty heavily oiled. The pearl cell really surprised me I did not think that it would make it to the pocket but it did. I played right around the second arrow and again I could not miss. Roto Grip really did their home work on this one. This ball is a perfect complement to the cell.

Wow! What can I say about a ball that gave me basically the whole lane! My stats are in my profile and I'm a 15-16mph stroker that usually plays 20 to 15 with my feet depending on lane conditions and I play 10 to 7 on the lanes. Bowling on Brunswick Pro Anvil I punched the Cell Pearl with the pin under my ring finger and the RG/MB 3" right of thumb. This is my favorite layout, because I'm a low track player, 37/8"> X 15/16"^ pap, so I need to get the equipment to read the lanes a little sooner because of the length I get naturally. Tonight I was standing 25 and playing 15 out to 10 and crushing the pocket. I had a few people come down to see how the ball was reacting and couldn't believe how deep I was playing. I did try my line the first couple of shots and barely hit the Brooklyn side running away! I did shoot 286 the 2nd game with the front 10 then leaving a 4-7-9 and that's when I had to move even deeper. I managed a 745 the first night out and only threw about 4 shot in practice. This ball is flat out sick!!!!! I will probably be drilling another one with a higher pin placement. I have drilled a lot of new equipment from various companies and this ball is the AWESOME! This ball is a tremendous ball I drilled one for a customer last night and he shoots 299 second game with the ball. This ball gives length with backend and carry what the bowler wants to have a great league ball. I threw this ball on the scorpion and it reads the pattern very well and the layout I use to get the ball to go as far as could before it started to hook. This ball hits like a truck. I have the pin below the middle finger and this ball reads the mid-lane so well it is unbelievable.  This is the first Roto-Grip ball I have ever owned and it wont be my last. Thanks Roto-grip for making the best ball of the year.

Review of my Cell Pearl (See Bowler and Ball Specs in Profile)

I have been able to use my Cell Pearl on a couple of different occasions:

1) The THS: - Wed night league...typical Xmas Tree House Pattern. Played the oil line around 12 and couldn't miss...the amazing part is the consistency off a Pearl off the breakpoint.  Others were having trouble with a bit of transition and my Cell Pearl just ignored it and let me remain firmly in the pocket. The carry is quite remarkable. I few shots I came a bit around the ball and was for certain I was going to shoot the 10...and the CP punched it out.  I was able to make small moves inside as the lanes dried to keep the pocket.  768 with a 289 (little slow for a 4 pin).  Should have been much more but user error was the problem.  For a THS this ball is a complete monster.

2) PBA Experience - Our first week was The Shark ...44 feet.  Started with my regular Cell for Game 1 and part of Game 2 as I started to get early roll and a bit of burn out with the Cell playing 18-12.  Changed over to the Cell Pearl and played the same line and shot 640 for my last 3.  Was the perfect compliment to the Cell for when the Cell was too much.  Again the consistancy and the hitting power was quite amazing to me.  People were in shock I could use a pearl on such a big oil pattern.  The next week was the Chameleon and I started with my Horizon Solid straight up 8 for 2 games. As soon as it was starting to read early went to the CP and stayed right there for the last 3 games...another 600+ again with great consistency and great hitting power.

3) Sport Condition 3-1/37 feet. CP was a monster straight up the 5 board.  Played that line for all 6 games and only made minor hand position changes.  Was high (over 30+ bowlers) with 60 over. Again slight mistakes with release left some corner pins or would have been much better. The consistency off the break point is truly the selling point for me.

Overall I think the CP is truly a remarkable and versitile ball that can be used pretty much on anything but extremes.  People seeing my CP and how consistent and how well it hits have started to get on the bandwagon here in Germany.  Starting to see more and more CP.  Great ball at a great price from a great company!

LOVE THE BALL, own the original Cell also. VERY VERY forgiving ball. Hats off to the weight block design and cover stock. Watch the You Tube videos. I will have to say this ball is strong. I have bowl 12 games with it. Took some getting used to. Great inside line ball, for me Right/Tweener, Synthetic lanes, I play range of boards 22-16 out to 10-7 at break point, it grabs goes and never stops...the continuous non-defecting motion limits the 10 pins. Stay firm with this animal, or she'll get out of control. Keep up the speed or you won't be able to move far enough left.  You will find once it hits the buffed area, it does everything they say it does, long, hard arching. I have thrown hammer for years but once I saw the pin action and how the cell balls finish on the decks. Call me crazy, but they have their own unique pin action. My Hammer equipment hits hard and clears the deck but would leave 10 pins the Cells I have notice more 7 and 4's if I miss...rarely 10's.  I feel for me easily has added 20 pins to my average. Last year, I was usually a 198-210 average, now 215-225.  650-700 series are common.  High so far this year 299/806

I really love this ball. Have had It for several weeks now and never imagined a pearlized ball could perform like this! So clean and smooth. Reading the lane all the way and still having plenty of punch to put'em all in the pit. A very pretty ball that definitely is more than just good looks! Even on fresh conditions, THS or tournament shots this ball does well as long as you let it work and don't force it.
 3 to 3.5" pin and top weight at 2 to 2.5 oz. Used the 5X3 B drilling with pin directly right of fingers. I am truly impressed with this ball. I even bought another one. I am also a dedicated user of the NV line and Mo's products, but now I must say ROTO GRIP has got a HOLD on me!
 I highly recommend this ball and feel you too will be pleased and impressed!
I am medium speed, medium revs, and have a higher track, but feel if you layout and drill this ball to your own characteristics you will be happy.
