Hurd out with eye injury after attack!!

Jason Hurd is in eye surgery this morning for a detached retina sp?? He was sucker punched on friday night inside Sunset Station by an off duty Station employee. He was coming to defend Tony Reyes who was being verbally attacked about PBA bowlers being a joke. Jason never saw the punch coming and probably will lose his exempt status from not making it points wise now, he is probably going to be out the rest of the year.

Pray for Jason and i hope Station pays his bills and the PBA defers his exempt status for next year, this is a disgrace to Vegas and Station Casinos.

It really sucks for Jason, and I hope there's no long-term damage that could hurt his career.

But the way he's been bowling, he didn't need an eye-injury to be worried about losing his exemption.  Dino Castillo has 9 places on him and he's not even exempt.

First off, the fight had NOTHING to do with the guys verbally attacking Tony Reyes about "bowling being a joke."

Second off, if Jason's retina was already "detached" he would have gone blind. It was becoming detached.

If you are going to post about something that involves someone other than yourself please know the right facts to report on, otherwise you will just start a rumor mill!!

Maybe a link to another reputable source is in order?

Also, who will get in if he is out?  How far out of the cut was Wayne Webb when the tour trials were over?

There's less than half the season remaining.  Doesn't seem fair to pick up another bowler from Tour Trials or points at this point.  There'd be no way to earn an exemption starting this late in the game short of winning.  Might be better to just open up another spot in PTQs.

Ok unreal25 you say what you say yes it is not detached he is seeing black spots and was told that driving to El Paso would be a bad idea. He was told by a specialist in Vegas that he is was probably going to detach at any time.

Unless you were in the Bar when this happened and would like to be a man and post your real name??? You do not know what is going on here do you??  Yes it did have to do with Tony reyes being verbally attacked and his girlfriend asked the bartender for security and they did nothing about it.

I know people on the PBA tour i am not going to post who it is or who is telling me this but the br members can trust anything i post for being accurate. This is second hand so yes by legality it is rumors in case you work for Station and wish to threaten me with a law suit.

Man Jason should sue that guy for everything he has.  Then that guy should go to prison for a minimum sentence of 5 years in maximum security.  We need to send a message to all these retards in the world that PBA bowling is not a joke and that if you touch a player or any athlete for any sport, you will be paying the price with money and prison.

Definition
A retinal detachment occurs when the retina is pulled away from its normal position in the back of the eye. The retina sends visual images to the brain through the optic nerve. When detachment occurs, vision is blurred. A detached retina is a very serious problem that almost always causes blindness unless it is treated.

Btw his surgery is in his hometown of Tampa Florida if anyone doubts me, i will update when i hear how it went for all of you later today or tomorrow.

Also a prominent Tour player has been paying all his expenses already we can make a collection from BR members if you are all interested??? I will leave it up to you guys on the collection issue so nobody thinks i am trying to screw anyone on here.

To let you all know I was there. I would be Tony's girlfriend who repeatedly asked for security! Had both of the bartenders called for security the multiple times I had asked it wouldn't have gone as far as it did.
I know there are are multiple stories out there, but until I talk with Jason and see how he is and if he wants me to post details I will hold off.

Well i hope Jason sues Station for lack of security and i was not there and i have heard this through a close friend of yours and Tony's. Please post what really provoked these guys to attack Jason??? I have heard that you aksed for help more than once and nobody behind the bar would take this matter seriously??

I am willing to put together a collection for Jason if anyone is interested??? I do not read the PBA boards so i do not know if there is one going on there already???

It was this morning in Tampa i am sure he is at home resting by now, i should know by tomorrow if everything went well but i am sure you find out before me. I am not his friend directly just know guys that are also tour players who are, so let us know how he is doing if you call him today.
